Maybe sometimes you need a connection using Telnet to remote something. To use telnet connection, you need command prompt. If your windows still standard, you will know that your windows can't do a telnet connection, whatever you do on the telnet client. Telnet does't active in windows's standard setting. The way to activate telnet in windows is as follows (I am using windows 8, but it is same way, the setting is in Programs and Features) :
- Move your mouse to bottom left corner, and then click Control Panel.

- In Control Panel, chose "Programs" and then chose "Program and Features".

- And then chose "Turn windows features on or off", then a new window appeared and check box "Telnet Client" and "Telnet Server".

If you have done with this setting, try to connect with telnet again. It is easy, isn't it?
